TwoSistas welcomed to today’s podcast on this WealthWellnessWednesday, Yossi Montrose.  Yossi has 20 years experience in fitness and nutrition which he approaches from a holistic side. He developed his own unique fitness program using an exercise ball!  What is so unique about Yossi’s program:  he has helped his clients get rid of back and joint pain as well as improve their performance with less injury!

Yossi knows first hand how debilitating back and joint pain can be.  After experiencing such pain and discomfort, he realized that although his bad posture was also contributing to this pain, he wanted to do something to alleviate it - and that he did!

From suffering a bad fall and fracturing his foot and being in a cast for over 6 months, Yossi “discovered” the exercise ball.  He started out slowly and saw improvement.  He maintained his consistency and it amazed him at how much these low impact exercises were helping him with his recovery.  In fact, his surgeon remarked that he had never seen someone with Yossi’s type of injury recover and rehab so quickly and efficiently.  (That says so much about Yossi in general!)

Yossi is constantly educating himself as any amazing fitness practitioner would do!  He fully engages his mind and endures to challenge himself to evolve and do things differently and safely.  He not only uses an exercise ball himself; he uses (2) and yes; he skips while standing on the exercise ball!  (He also uses other means to use the exercise ball such as in the pool!)  He also explained the different uses and how to choose an exercise ball based on your height.

We thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with Yossi today and learned so much from him!  Yossi focuses on what you can do; not what you can’t do - by engaging your mind, you can receive many amazing benefits from a HIIT type of workout on an exercise ball!  Start out slowly and work toward a HIIT goal and of course, don’t try any skipping just yet!!!!!
