TwoSistas and on this WealthWellnessWednesday welcome Dr. Orlena Kerek. Dr. Kerek trained as a doctor in the UK (pediatrics). She now coaches women to lead their most healthy life and love it, so they can "shed the wobble", get lots of energy and lead a long and healthy life.
Dr. Kerek shared that in order to make changes, you need to step forward and commit to a healthier lifestyle. It's definitely hard however she suggested to turn that around by saying "it's easy" to be where I am and "it's easy" to adapt to where I want to be. We further chatted about goals and how important it is to keep you eye on your goal while enjoying the present moment.
Dr. Kerek also shared some amazing insight on how our children view us as adults; in other words, the best (2) gifts you can give your children is your own happiness and vegetables! As far as food and emotions with our children, her advice was to not use food to modify a child's behavior and shared a personal story of how she did just that!
