TwoSistas and it’s TriumphTuesday @ Night on August 9, 2022 - the heatwave in the Northeast continues and apparently so does the “political” chaos which certainly adds a lot of stress - this affects our overall wellness! How we deal with stress can really wreak havoc on how we feel physically and emotionally. Are we surprised at what is happening? No. Is it frustrating? Yes.
While we are not experts, there are certainly so many things that you can do to ease the stress you are feeling such as:
*Don’t watch the news.
*Turn off the news alerts.
*Listen to soothing music.
*Call a friend.
*Do some breathing exercises.
*Exercise (don’t forget to hydrate).
*Watch something funny.
There are so many things that we can’t control but we have the ultimate control of how we react. Remember to give yourself the time to reflect on how that stress is affecting you; celebrate the wins - that’s a triumph!
