Going into the holidays can bring about stress and anxiety - especially when we are not feeling our best. Have you heard of the "Seasonal 7"? The Seasonal 7 is the timeframe between Halloween and New Years where the average adult gains approximately 7lbs. Unfortunately, this has almost quadrupled - almost at 30 lbs - yikes! What do you do - do you just say f*ck it and enjoy the holidays not feeling your best or do you say you know, I'm not going to stress about it but I will be mindful of what I do. Remember to be gentle and kind to yourself and hydrate!
A great way to go about this is to keep a "food" journal - write down what you are consuming and why (yes; the why is that important!). This will keep you accountable to you and no one else. If you want to indulge in something, perhaps take 1/2 a portion - we have so many helpful hints.
